Once again, Red Wellies is excited to announce further vacancies for both experienced and inexperienced talented individuals to join our fabulous team.

​

As of 22nd January 2024, we have the following vacancies:

​

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator

  • Apprentice Childcare Practitioner

  • 1:1 Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Support Assistant

 

We are keen to support level 3 candidates through a distance-learning Foundation Degree or level 5 qualification, or graduates without an education background  through the Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT). We are passionate about continuing professional development, which is why we already have six qualified level 6 and above graduates and teachers.

Experienced NVQ Level 3 Childcare Practitioners

​

Are you an expert in Child Development? Do you love seeing children learn and thrive in a caring and nurturing environment? Do you regard children being outdoors as being vital to their welfare and development? If so, then working for Red Wellies might just be the career choice for you - we offer both full-time and part-time positions and can be flexible to your needs around your own childcare or busy life - all we ask is that you work around our sessions (click here). Full time means 40+ hours per week, normally on four full days (between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm). Long day staff are offered a paid mid-morning break. All other staff receive a 20-30 minute unpaid lunch break, a dedicated staff room and your own locker.

Apprentice Childcare Practitioner

​

Do you want a career in childcare? You will be paid a minimum of £5.28, rising to £6.40 per hour for 30 - 40 hours per week, and we also pay you to study! Qualify with a Level 3 in as little as 12 months and then you have the option to further your qualifications as above. Have a look at the PDF summary and then you can apply at:

1:1 SEN Support

​

Are you empathetic and caring? We have a vacancy to support a child with Special Educational Needs. It's up to 20 hours per week and within school hours if required. You don't need any formal qualifications, just attend an interview at Red Wellies and then do a quick 2 hour (paid) work trial.
