Once again, Red Wellies is excited to announce further vacancies for both experienced and inexperienced talented individuals to join our fabulous team.

Currently, we have the following vacancies:

• Kitchen Porter

• Level 3 Early Years Educator

• Childcare Apprentice

 

We are keen to support level 3 candidates through a distance-learning Foundation Degree or level 5 qualification, or graduates without an education background  through the Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT). We are passionate about continuing professional development, which is why we already have six qualified level 6 and above graduates and teachers.

Kitchen Porter and Food Preparation Assistant

We are seeking a positive, energetic, and attentive individual to join our team in a varied role that combines food preparation, kitchen porter duties and clean-up. This unique role is a mix between a restaurant Kitchen Porter (KP) and a school midday supervisor. Please see job description below for further details.

Experienced NVQ Level 3 Childcare Practitioners

​

Are you an expert in Child Development? Do you love seeing children learn and thrive in a caring and nurturing environment? Do you regard children being outdoors as being vital to their welfare and development? If so, then working for Red Wellies might just be the career choice for you - we offer both full-time and part-time positions and can be flexible to your needs around your own childcare or busy life - all we ask is that you work around our sessions (click here). Full time means 40+ hours per week, normally on four full days (between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm). Long day staff are offered a paid mid-morning break. All other staff receive a 20-30 minute unpaid lunch break, a dedicated staff room and your own locker.

Apprentice Childcare Practitioner

​

Do you want a career in childcare? As a 16-18 year old, you will be paid a minimum of £8.00 per hour and you will be paid to study!
